Four Appomattox County High School seniors took part in the written portion of the Virginia state inspection test on June 18. Logan McCoy, Kelly Price, Jacob Wallace, and Chris Wilkerson were the students to complete this test.
These students now move on to complete the practical exam and will become certified Virginia State Inspectors.
“As their instructor I am especially proud of the hard work and dedication of these students,” said Jonathan Garrett, auto instructor at Appomattox County High School. “To successfully complete this exam during the midst of an irregular school year due to COVID-19 speaks volumes to our students’ abilities.”
In order to be eligible for testing, the students must have completed 1,080 hours in the CTE Automotive Technology Program.
