In the midst of coronavirus scare, Gordmans’ employees at the new store in Appomattox made the most of their grand opening day Tuesday, March 17. While their grand opening ribbon-cutting ceremony was canceled in order to comply with recommendations from the state, employees continued to take a chipper view of the day.
Early morning at around 8 a.m., employees gathered for a celebratory breakfast and prayer in the break room to commemorate the day. Afterward, they held a small ribbon cutting for the staff to make the day memorable.
