Rev. Dr. Paul Michael Raymond of Reformed Bible Church in Appomattox was one of almost a hundred citizens who gathered Saturday at Miller Park in Lynchburg. Their purpose? To gather together for a time of prayer for the State of Virginia and the nation.
The event was organized by a concerned citizen, Daniel Abbott.
“From a biblical standpoint, God’s word tells us that if the people of God pray, that he will hear them and he will heal their land,” said Abbott.
