The New Geneva Education Center on Harrell Street hosted their second “Intro-to” event of the summer, “Intro-to Art.” It took place on July 16 at the New Geneva Library located at 222 Harrell Street. The events are an engaging way to give kids a taste or sampling of various subjects throughout the summer.
Children, ages five to nine years old, were invited to come and experience different art mediums and techniques ranging from chalk to watercolor. Various stations were set up where adults showcased and allowed children to create a hands-on art piece to take home.
By the end of the event, children had up to five art pieces to take home and share with their loved ones.
