The community gathered inside the Appomattox County High School gymnasium and cafeteria Friday evening to attend the Colors of Cancer Relay for Life event.
This year, Colors of Cancer took place indoors due to rainy conditions.
The event featured live music from Crystal Harmon, food, raffles, games, a scavenger hunt, a kids walk and more. The community gathered to show their support for those currently fighting cancer, its survivors and loved ones of the deceased.
Vendors were also present, as all proceeds from sales were designated to Relay for Life.
