Olivia Spiggle, 17, a junior at Cornerstone Christian Academy, received an honorable mentions for her pencil drawing, “Hands,” in the 2019 Congressional Art Competition for Virginia’s 5th District.

Congressman Denver Riggleman made the announcement Monday when he announced the winner of the competition, Albemarle High School sophomore Mia Liang, for her acrylic piece, “Summer Under the Blue Ridge.”

“I would like to thank all the students who entered the competition. The level of talent was truly amazing,” Riggleman said.
