No feathers were ruffled at the town workshop meeting July 23 as the council discussed the problem of vultures affecting townspeople.
Following the truck ordinance discussion, Joy Bagby approached the council on behalf of her own household and their neighbors. She said the neighborhood of Oakleigh Avenue, Confederate Boulevard, Martha Street and Patricia Anne Lane are finding the presence of vultures a continuous nuisance. A nuisance that spans 20 years or more according to Bagby.
