Dinterman elected as FFA State Vice President

Recently-graduated Appomattox County High School FFA student Jacob Dinterman was elected as FFA State Vice President on Thursday, June 20, at the final session of the 93rd Virginia FFA State Convention. He was one of 18 candidates that interviewed for a position on a nine-person state leadership team.

Dinterman is the 14th student from Appomattox that has been elected to serve as a state FFA officer. The most recent were Daniella Hodges (Gaulden) in 2011-2012 and Richard Jones (1981-1982). The first student to serve as a state officer from Appomattox was Carrington Beard in 1932-33, when the FFA was only five years old.
