The Appomattox Town Council met Monday evening to revisit the food truck ordinance. A public hearing was held to offer citizens an opportunity to speak for or against the ordinance.

“The intent of this ordinance is to establish basic operation standards for mobile food establishments as well as appropriate protections of public health, safety and welfare for their operation,” the mayor read. “Mobile food establishments are not by definition permanent fixtures to a specific property.”
