Christian Matthew Hall, 23, of Lynchburg, was sentenced Thursday morning to serve three-and-a-half years of incarceration for his role in a Jan. 27, 2019 armed robbery on Paradise Road in Concord.
Hall pleaded guilty to three felony offenses in Appomattox County Circuit Court. Three charges were dropped in the plea agreement.
Hall was convicted of breaking and entering, robbery, and abduction by force or intimidation. The dropped charges were similar in description.
Hall is the first of four co-defendants in the case to be sentenced.
Melvin Martin, 32, of Appomattox, who was accused of handling a rifle in the incident, pleaded no contest to eight charges in November and awaits sentencing on Jan. 16.
Also on Jan. 16, Erica Leigh Mays, 38, of Madison Heights, and Dakota Blake Fitzgerald, 24, of Madison Heights, are scheduled for trial in Appomattox County Circuit Court for their alleged roles in the crime.
