The Appomattox County Historical Society is in search of applicants to fill the position of weekend tour guides.

Weekend tour guides would be on hand to greet and share information with visitors during weekend hours.

The position is suitable for those who have an interest subjects such as Appomattox history and/or genealogy. 

The tour guide would work at the society’s Clover Hill Village facility.

The society suggests that the position would be suitable to retirees or even high school students looking for class credits. 

An internship program  may be arranged for students.

The society wishes to find someone who can help as a tour guide on  Friday, Saturdays and Sundays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. 

The hours can be scheduled for more than one person to cover the weekend.

The society will offer free family membership in the society for their tour guide, as well as the many benefits associated with a membership in the organization.
