The Appomattox County Board of Supervisors appointed three individuals to the vacated positions of the county’s Economic Development Authority at Tuesday’s meeting.
It was the board’s first regular meeting of the year and was preceded by a workshop meeting.
Brett Stratton was appointed to fill the vacancy of James Searcy. The term runs from January 2020 to December 2023.
Todd Nash was appointed to fill the unexpired term of Buddy Connor. The unexpired term runs from January 2020 to December 2020.
Jeff Smith was appointed to fill the unexpired term of David Moody, running from January 2020 to December 2020.
The board unanimously voted in favor of each appointee.
