Cancer touches so many people in our community. Relay for Life is an opportunity to celebrate people who have battled or are battling cancer, to remember loved ones lost to cancer and to take action to finish the fight against cancer by raising funds for the American Cancer Society.  I would like to thank the citizens of Appomattox County who made it possible to raise $67,810.36 so far during the 2018 Appomattox Relay for Life. Donations made through August will go towards the 2018 Relay, and the 2019 Relay officially begins in September.
