The library is going to start the new year off with a new director at the helm. Please stop by and welcome local resident Diana Harvey. Diana is excited to be working at the J. Robert Jamerson Memorial Library as she has called Appomattox home for over 10 years.

On Monday, Dec. 2, Evelyn Ford from St. Anne’s Episcopal Church stopped by the library to gather up the first load of gently used and new toys for the “Community Christmas Tree” outreach program. All items will help local families in need, who may not otherwise have a Christmas. It is not too late to contribute to this much-need program and help make someone’s holiday the merrier. The last day to drop off donations is Friday, Dec. 20.
