It is with deep regret we announce that the J. Robert Jamerson Memorial Library has been closed to the public until further notice. We have made this difficult decision with the safety and well being of our patrons in mind.
We will be monitoring our e-mails, phones and social media platforms 9:30 a.m. – 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. At this time the book depository will remain open for patrons to returned all library-owned materials. Our book drop is located at the back of the building should you need to make use of it. We want to assure you that we will be disinfecting these materials as they are returned.
We may be closed to the public but we are still playing a role in our community, by providing a small selection of federal tax forms and books for our patrons to take for free. Please be courteous and only take one or two items so that there is plenty to share.
We encourage patrons to visit our website at www.jrjml.org if you wish to renew your items online. You can visit our Facebook account at www.facebook.com/jamersonlibrary for the latest updated information, online Storytime, craft projects, links to educational and entertainment venues, and other such postings.
The library will be taking this opportunity to evaluate our collections, do extra cleaning and reorganize future programs and events. Should you need to contact us during this time, please feel free to reach out by the following means: phone (434) 352-5340, fax (434) 352-0933, general email at email@example.com, or for programing/events, email Katharine Bloodworth at firstname.lastname@example.org.
