Free GED classes are offered at 131 Price Lane, Appomattox, in the Alternative Education Building on Monday and Wednesday evenings from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Free classes are offered on Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 9 a.m. to noon at the New Jerusalem Baptist Church, 4287 Richmond Highway, Appomattox, just past Evergreen. New students are welcome with open enrollment at any time.
