Raider Day of Service

Appomattox County High School will be holding a Raider Day of Service on November 26, 2019. This will be a day in which all students at the school have a chance to give back to their community.

We are currently in the planning phase and are looking for areas to place our students for the day. They would leave the school at 8:30 and be transported to their work location. They would then be picked up around 2:00 to return to the school. The students can do all types of community enrichment. They can paint, rake leaves, read to the elderly, build things, pack food or items, clean, etc.

If you think that you could use any help at your location, could you please contact Mrs. Matthews at 352-7146 ext. 4166 or email rjmatthews@acpsweb.com.

We would like to make this an annual event and are looking forward to working with as many non-profit organizations in the area as possible.
