The Town of Appomattox, Virginia
Public Works - Laborer - Part Time, Temporary, Seasonal: Approximately 40 hours per week for up to six months. The purpose of this position is to perform responsible, unskilled and semi-skilled work in the maintenance of buildings and grounds, water
distribution system, wastewater distribution system, street operations, snow removal, and general maintenance work.
Minimum Education and Experience: High School diploma or general education
degree (GED) and some experience in unskilled labor. Commonwealth of Virginia Driver's License required.

Public Works - Facilities Technician I - Full Time: The Town of Appomattox seeks an unskilled worker in the maintenance of buildings and grounds, water, wastewater
infrastructure, street operations, snow removal and general maintenance work for the position of Facilities Technician I.
Minimum Education and Special Requirements: High School diploma or general education degree (GED) and valid Virginia Driver's license and ability to obtain a Class B with tanker endorsement Commercial Driver's License (CDL) issued by the
Commonwealth of Virginia within 12 months of hiring date.
