Central Virginia Community College (CVCC) will be holding an in-person graduation commencement ceremony for its Class of 2022 graduates.
The commencement ceremony will take place at the Vines Center at Liberty University at 7 p.m. on Thursday, May 12. This information may be subject to change if there are any new or renewed COVID-19 concerns.
“We are excited to be able to resume our in-person graduation ceremony,” said Karen Alexander, CVCC College Registrar. “We understand this is a major milestone for our graduates and their families, and we are pleased to be able to celebrate their accomplishments in-person this year.”
CVCC has not held an in-person graduation ceremony since May 2019 due to Coronavirus mandates. The college did offer both the Class of 2020 and the Class of 2021 virtual graduation ceremonies. In addition, CVCC held a drive-through graduation parade event last year.
CVCC will be awarding over 1,000 degrees, diplomas, certificates, and career studies certificates for 2022.
