On Tuesday, the Carver-Price Legacy Museum received a $1,000 donation from the Bank of the James to assist with the museum’s current renovation project on Confederate Boulevard.

Bank of the James Executive Vice President Patrick Richardson released the following statement on behalf of Bank of the James.

“Bank of the James is proud to partner with the Carver-Price Legacy Museum. Many in the Appomattox community may have noticed the recent and significant renovations to the museum. We believe this support, along with other community gifts, will help the Carver-Price Legacy Museum achieve its full recognition as a regional icon.

“Our commitment to this organization as well as to many other organizations in the communities we serve represents our wholehearted belief that the Bank of the James is indeed where community and banking come together.”
