CASA of Central Virginia, a nonprofit organization dedicated to recruiting volunteers to be advocates for children who have experienced abuse and neglect, is urgently seeking community members in Appomattox to join their cause. The need for volunteers in the Appomattox area is critical, and CASA is calling on compassionate individuals to make a difference in the lives of vulnerable children.
To address this pressing need, CASA of Central Virginia is hosting an Information Session at the J. Robert Jameson Memorial Library in Appomattox on Jan. 4 from 6 to 7 p.m. This one-hour session will provide attendees with valuable insights into the mission and work of CASA, along with details on how they can take the necessary steps to become a Volunteer Advocate. "We believe that every child deserves to have a safe and nurturing environment, and volunteers play a crucial role in ensuring that their voices are heard," said Kelli Diaz, Recruitment and Development Director at CASA of Central Virginia.
