This afternoon a multitude of motorcycle riders from the area and as far away as Roanoke and Virginia Beach gathered at Robinson Funeral Home in Appomattox to pay tribute to the late Christian Nathaniel Evans, of Appomattox, who passed away at age 22 on Thursday, May 5 as the result of a single-vehicle motorcycle crash in Campbell County.
Following today's funeral service, the bikers led the procession from Robinson's Funeral Home to Liberty Cemetery at approximately 3 p.m., where Evans was laid to rest.
Evans, who was an avid motorcycle enthusiast, is the son of Brandy and A.R. Evans and leaves behind two brothers and one sister.
