Appomattox County 4-H will again be offering after-school and specialty clubs as well as events during the year, for youth to participate in. Listed below are the programs in place, there will also be announcements of possible new clubs forming, as well as other upcoming events.
Appomattox 4-H Archery Club — This club will meet on Mondays, after school at Appomattox Elementary School. Please call the Extension Office 434-352-8244, if you are interested.
Fun With Foods — This after-school program is for those who enjoy cooking, and would like to learn some new skills. Open to ages 9-13, meetings will be held on the third Thursday of the month, from 3:30 to 5 p.m. The 2022-2023 season will start Sept. 16 and end in May. The cost for this program is $7/class, to cover food and cooking item expenses. Please call the Extension Office to register.
