The Appomattox Raiders softball team traveled to Altavista on Friday to play the Altavista Colonels. Appomattox won 12-0 in five innings.

Scoring for Appomattox was Sydney Bryant (2), Aubrey Fulcher (2), Paisley Mann (2), MaKanzie Elliott (2), Ashlyn Hensley (2), Myah Kelso (1) and Chloe Vaughn (1).

Pitching for Appomattox was Paisley Mann and Bre Carrico.

Last Wednesday’s home game against Gretna was postponed due to rain and was rescheduled for May 3 at 5:30 p.m.

Appomattox will be playing at Brookville on April 6 in the Brookville Tournament. Appomattox will host Buckingham on April 10 at 5:30.

Appomattox is 4-1 for the season.
