This afternoon at Appomattox County High School, two senior Raiders softball players signed their National Letter of Intent to play at the Division I level in college.

Bree Carrico, a pitcher, signed with the Virginia Tech Hokies, a member of the Atlantic Coast Conference.

"It was close to home, and I just liked the atmosphere and everything that Virginia Tech had to offer," Carrico said.

Aubrey Fulcher, an outfielder, signed with the Liberty Flames, a member of Conference USA.

"It's just like a family there (at Liberty)...The way that they point you towards Christ is amazing," Fulcher said.
