Thomas Willis “T.W.” Ballowe, 55, of Chilton Road, Appomattox, died Monday, January 28, 2019, at Lynchburg General Hospital. He was the husband of Marsha Cheatham Ballowe.
Born in Lynchburg, Va., on September 30, 1963, he was the son of Jackie Jamerson Ballowe of Appomattox and the late Ralph “Blues” McLane Ballowe. T. W. was employed by F. L. Moore Trucking Company as a dispatcher. He was a member of Reedy Spring Baptist Church.
In addition to his wife and mother he is survived by a son, Thomas Wayde Ballowe and wife, Holly; two grandchildren, Logan and Levi Ballowe; his sister, Cathryn B. Mobley and husband, Larry; ; mother-in-law, Linda Paulette; brother-in-law, Greg May and friend, Joyce Hunt; two aunts, Berksie B. Adams and Barbara J. Guill and husband, Ottoway; two nieces, Becky Mobley and Brittney Holiday; and a nephew, Corey May.
A funeral service will be held 11 a.m., Wednesday, January 30, 2019, at Reedy Spring Baptist Church by the Rev. Paul Kvasnicka, Rev. Dan Davis, and Rev. Jerry Childress. Burial will follow in Liberty Baptist Cemetery.
The family received friends from 7-8:30 p.m., on Tuesday, January 29, 2019, at Robinson Funeral Home and other times at his residence and at the home of his mother.
