In their first home meet in school history, the Appomattox County High School Raiders boys swim team defeated both Prince Edward County High School and Altavista last Friday, while the girls defeated Altavista and fell to Prince Edward. The boys beat Prince Edward 44-42, and dominated Altavista 44-33. The Lady Raiders defeated Altavsita 46-34, and came up short to Prince Edward, 38-45.

The meet was held at Hampden-Sydney College.
