It has been said that the game of golf is one that can be played for as long as a person shall live, but what happens when many come together to play the game to help with the betterment of those in need?
A prime example was shown this past Saturday at Falling River Country Club as the 9th Annual Guatemala Missionary Golf Tournament took place. There were 23 teams, each consisting of four players, that took to the course to play in a Captain’s Choice format and help raise money for the Mount Comfort Guatemala Mission, which is championed by Mount Comfort United Methodist Church.
