With the Fourth of July quickly approaching, parents are looking to entertain their children in an environment that enables them to form new connections in the community. Parents want children to attend an event that enables them to celebrate the special holiday and appreciate the brave volunteers that sacrifice so much for our community and nation. One local fire department is about ready to provide an event that will likely meet and exceed many parents’ guidelines of a fulfilling Fourth of July event.
On July 4, the Concord Volunteer Fire Department Auxiliary will be hosting its Fourth of July parade that will begin at 10 am. The parade will begin at the Concord Elementary School and will conclude at the Concord Volunteer Fire Department’s (CVFD) station.
“We look forward to simply seeing friends and neighbors and having fun as a community as we remember the reason we celebrate the founding of our free nation,” said President of the CVFD Auxiliary Charlotte Bryant.
