Kaylee Meadows of Appomattox won the 2023 state title of “Little Miss” in the Miss Virginia American Star Achievement contest. This is her very first big round crown.

The event was held at the Appomattox Community Center on Sunday, March 12 at 2 p.m.

Meadows represented the Appomattox area this past year. During this time she donated to the Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church local food bank, the Appomattox Animal Shelter, and a reading program at the J. Robert Jamerson Memorial Library.

Meadows won the community service award for putting in over 100 hours.
