Ladies from New Hope Baptist Church made blankets and donated them to the Appomattox County Sheriff’s Office on Feb. 26. They were prayed over and will be placed in each patrol car to be given to citizens for comfort in a time of need. Major Robbie Richardson and his family were invited to the service.
