While students of Appomattox County High School are on Christmas break, work on the school’s renovation project is moving forward.
The project was briefly updated by Appomattox County Public Schools Superintendent Dr. Annette Bennett at the Dec. 16 meeting of the Appomattox County School Board.
“A lot will be happening over holiday break,” Bennett said. She went on to mention the construction footers are now being placed to the foundation, and also a new sewer pump had to be installed. By the time students return to school Jan. 4, they should see masonry walls being constructed.
