Theresa Rousseau Davidson, 64, of Summerville, South Carolina, gained her angel wings on June 14, 2021.
Theresa was born March 18, 1957, at U.S. Marine Corp Hospital Cherry Point, N.C to S. SGT Richard F. Rousseau and PFC (former) Shirley L. Rousseau.
Growing up, Theresa was a natural at swimming and softball. She participated in the Girl Scouts. She was an avid pro-wrestling fan and was known for cheering for the bad guys. Theresa was known for her cooking and canning techniques. Her family favorites were her breads, cakes, and pies; strawberry jam, and everyone’s favorite, sausage balls. She had a love of music, horror movies, reality t.v., and being at the beach. She enjoyed doing crafts, sewing, and crocheting. Theresa loved planting and tending to her flowers and volunteering at Second Chance thrift store. Through all the trials and tribulations life threw at her, nevertheless she persisted.
She loved having big curly teased hair, had a beautiful smile, an infectious laugh, and a caring heart. A true flower child and beach babe at heart. Shout out to Orange Park High School, Class of 1976, she never forgot you!
Theresa was preceded in death by her son, Thomas Daniel Stanton; her father, Gunnery Sergeant Richard F. Rousseau Sr., USMC Retired; and her grand fur baby, Tater Stanton.
Theresa is survived by her loving husband, James Davidson; her mother, Shirley L. Rousseau; three brothers, Richard F. Rousseau Jr., Michael J. Rousseau, and Charles E. Rousseau; daughters, Tina Stanton, Eva Stanton, Roseanne Roach; son, Christopher Roach and wife, Daisy; grandchildren, Staff Sergeant Daniel R. Satterwhite, II and wife, Katlyn; Summer, Samuel, Isabelle, Devin, Cameron, Khloe, and Timber; great grandchildren, Skylar, Reed, and Rosemary; and her fur babies Coco and Latte.
