Before writing this column Monday morning, I took a ride around town to get a general feel regarding the power outages.
The chamber office was without power and a major portion of the businesses were dark unless they had generators. On top of the pandemic, days of lost operation due to the power situation are just adding to the difficulties. Restaurants that are in a fight for survival may have lost some valuable Valentine’s Day customers.
My focus as of late has been on entrepreneurship that I hope to help get into the psyche of our community a bit more as things ramp up post-pandemic. What does it take to become an entrepreneur and get a new business up and running?
