E.C. Glass too quick to handle vs. Raider boys

The Appomattox Raiders and E.C. Glass Hilltoppers played a varsity boys basketball rematch on Wednesday, Jan. 26, at Appomattox County High School, with the Hilltoppers remaining on top of the hill with their second win over the Raiders this season, 60-34.

The schools previously met at E.C. Glass on Dec. 17, 2021, another decisive Hilltoppers victory by a score of 78-44.

E.C. Glass (12-3), a Class 3 program in the Seminole District, dominated from start to finish thanks largely to outstanding team quickness and high pressure defense that forced multiple Appomattox turnovers.
