On May 2, Appomattox County High School (ACHS) held its Spring 2024 National Letter of Intent signing day for Raiders student-athletes.
Senior girls soccer player Catey Paulette signed a National Letter of Intent to play for the University of Lynchburg (UL) Hornets.
Senior football player Daniel Bradley signed a National Letter of Intent to play for the Hampden-Sydney College (HSC) Tigers.
Paulette, a midfielder who leads the Raiders with 26 goals this season as of press time, chose the Hornets because, as she said, “It’s close to home and they have a really good soccer program.”
Bradley, a running back in the Raiders football program, had planned to attend college for academic reasons only and toured various schools. However, he surprisingly received an invitation to play football at HSC after committing academically.
