Malik Rashaun Wiley, 22, of Spout Spring, will serve a two-year jail term after pleading guilty to felony cocaine charges.

Wiley was convicted on five counts of possession with intent to sell or distribute cocaine and one count of selling drugs near school property.

In the plea deal, four charges were dropped including possession of a gun while selling marijuana, selling drugs near school property and two probation violations.

Evidence showed that Wiley conducted four cocaine transactions in Sept. 2018. The fifth charge was brought when a vehicle in which he was a passenger was pulled over for a traffic violation. A search of the vehicle turned up drugs and scales.

On all charges combined, Wiley received a suspended sentence of 22 years based on 20 years good behavior and three years supervised probation.
