Central Virginia Alliance for Community Living operates seven Nutrition and Education Sites located throughout Central Virginia — one of which is in Appomattox.

Here, individuals age 60 and older meet for nutritious hot meals, wellness programs, and education related to healthy living and aging well. In addition, participants enjoy trips to the grocery store and fun excursions.

Transportation to and from the Nutrition and Education Sites is available.

The Appomattox Nutrition and Education Site is located at 220 Community Lane, Appomattox. Dates and times: Monday, Wednesday and Friday, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
