On Thursday, July 7, members of Monroe Masonic Lodge No. 301, Appomattox, presented from the Most Worshipful Grand Lodge of Virginia Community Builders Award to the Appomattox County Rescue Squad.

The Community Builders Award is bestowed from the Grand Lodge of Virginia Ancient, Free & Accepted Masons through its local Lodges in recognition of outstanding service to the community by individuals or organizations. This award is given with heartfelt gratitude as an expression for significant efforts towards making the community a better place.
