ACHS has new principal

At its meeting Thursday night, the Appomattox County School Board approved the appointment of Luke Cunningham as principal of Appomattox County High School (ACHS).

Outgoing ACHS principal F. Poldi Moreno announced his resignation in May.

Cunningham has served within Appomattox County Schools for 11 years in the various roles of teach- er, basketball coach, instructional coach and most recently as assistant principal at Appomattox Middle School.
