Vehicle wrecks, catches on fire

Firefighters put out a fire on the scene of a vehicle wreck that occurred around 10:30 p.m. Wednesday on Narrow Passage Road near Gala Lake Road in Appomattox County. The vehicle ended up on its side and caught on fire, allegedly catching nearby foliage on fire as well. One person made it out of the vehicle safely and allegedly was sent to the hospital.
