The Appomattox Raiders indoor track and field team scored a trifecta Friday night as both the boys and girls teams won Region 2C titles and head coach Tim Crossin was named the Region 2C Coach of the Year.

The VHSL event was held at Roanoke College and concluded near midnight.

The girls won with 127 team points, while runner up Floyd County finished with 80.

The boys compiled 86 team points, while runner up Alleghany scored 71.
