Martin, Hamilton lead ACHS in cross country district race; regionals are today in Salem

Members of the Appomattox County High School cross country team competed in Altavista on Wednesday, Oct. 26 at the Dogwood District Championships.

Madison Martin placed second overall in the girls race with a time of 21:50. Clay Hamilton placed fourth overall in the boys race in a time of 18:29.

The high school team will compete again today at the Regional Championships in Salem.
