Raiders volleyball remains undefeated after sweep of Buckingham

Update Sept. 7 at 12 p.m.: Appomattox defeated Randolph-Henry 3-0 on Tuesday night.

The Appomattox Raiders volleyball team is off to a promising start in the 2022 fall season, thus far compiling an undefeated record of 3-0 as of press time Tuesday. The Raiders were scheduled to visit Randolph-Henry on Tuesday night.

On Thursday, Appomattox hosted its home opener against the Buckingham Knights and won in three sets (25-12, 25-10, 25-12). It was the second consecutive win for the Raiders in a home-and-home series against the Knights.

Appomattox scored a 3-1 win over Amherst in the Aug. 23 season opener.
