A Concord man who is accused of inappropriate behavior with a minor appeared in Appomattox County Circuit Court on Thursday to be advised about attorney arrangements.
Christopher Dustin Mayberry, 32, was assigned to be represented by court-appointed lawyer Jordan B. Davies of Lynchburg.
As previously reported in the Times Virginian, the alleged offenses took place March 27. He was arrested March 30.
The Appomattox County Circuit Court records indicate that Mayberry is charged with taking indecent liberties with a child under the age of 15, displaying of child pornography or grooming video or materials to a child under the age of 13, and object sexual penetration of a child under the age of 13.
Mayberry is being held at the Amherst County Detention Center without bond. He is scheduled for trial Nov. 21.
