According to the Appomattox County Chamber of Commerce, Saturday’s music event featuring Bo-Zac at Courtland Festival Park in Appomattox left the chamber with a feeling of frustration and disappointment due to lackluster attendance.
“The band was a popular one and their performance was excellent, the weather was perfect, food served by the historical society was very good and those that did attend had a great time,” said Chamber President John Redding. “Unfortunately, the numbers were insufficient for a successful night and the chamber incurred a financial loss.”
The entry fee was $5 with kids 12 and under getting in free.
According to the chamber prior to the event, Bo-Zac will no longer play together after fulfilling their already booked obligations.
