Wilt Family Farms in Appomattox County is hosting their second annual animal swap.
“This is our second year,” Owner Ashley Wilt said. “There’s no fees — just something we wanted to do for the community.”
In addition to animals, Wilt added, “We have people that sell meat, eggs, produce, handmade items, even yard sale things.”
Wilt Family Farms is open regularly for meat, eggs, animal feed, mulch, dirt and picking vegetables but saw this as a way to give back to the community.
The Wilt Family Farms animal swap is held every fourth Saturday from 9 a.m. until noon. To set up a table, or to get more information about Wilt Family Farms, contact them through their Wilt Family Farms Facebook page or call at 434-414-2123.
