Team Crossover Track Club from Appomattox County competed in the 34th Running of The Cannonball Cooper Championships in Richmond.
The track and field meet included over 750 talented athletes ages 5-17. Team Crossover took 12 athletes to Richmond, and they performed exceptionally well at their events.
The following athletes brought home medals in their age group:
• Trinity Lamberth (2nd place discus and 2nd place shotput)
• Nadia Abdussalaam (2nd place high jump and 6th place 100-meter hurdles)
• Michael Dapaah (2nd place javelin throw)

• Xavier Moseley (5th place long jump, 5th place high jump and 6th place 200-meter hurdles)
