On Monday, March 15, the Appomattox County Board of Supervisors adopted a resolution of opposition to the proposed Joshua Falls to Gladstone power line route through Appomattox County.
The vote was unanimously in favor of the resolution’s adoption.
Reasons for standing against the proposed powerline route were listed in the resolution.
Appalachian Power’s upgrade would entail a route that runs “from the Joshua Falls substation in Campbell County to the Gladstone substation in Nelson County …”
