Appomattox County Middle and High School competed at the Fork Union Invitational Meet on September 16th. Middle schooler Elly Nash finished first place in the 2500-meter girls’ race with a time of 9:24. Nash was followed by Olivia Tucker, with a time of 11:34, Caroline Swing, with a time of 12:26, Elizabeth Hunter, with a time of 12:52, and Khloe Hodge, with a time of 14:33. Appomattox finished 8th overall out of 10 teams.
